The Cambridge Math Circle has several spots remaining in the classes for Grades 1-2 and 3-5. We are a registered 401 (3)c non-profit, with a goal of encouraging all students, irrespective of family income, to experience the beauty and fun of mathematics. In our classes, students learn to solve non-standard problems and puzzles, as well as engage in hands-on activities. Students work in groups and individually, learning to communicate their ideas and listen to others. The city-wide classes take place on Sundays at Harvard University, with Harvard undergraduates as teaching assistants and math/physics Ph.D.s with over 30 years of teaching experience as instructors.
